The recent incident at 94 Rockaway Parkway is just so tragic on many levels. Something that's been bothering me is the timeline and Sedita's actions. How could Charles Sedita not have figured out that Jermaine was in serious trouble earlier in the day? I mean, I know everyone reacts differently under stress and shock, but if he's the one who discovered Jermaine and even went back to sleep believing he had passed out, why didn't anything seem off to him? Perhaps there was more going on in the apartment before the police were called. I feel for both Sedita, who must be grappling with so much guilt and confusion, and Jermaine's family, especially his kids who are now left without their father. It's curious how Sedita immediately suggested a possible drug dealing motive. Was this something he knew about beforehand or just a wild guess? The fact that various personal items were taken makes it look more like a targeted robbery, but who knows. Hopefully, the NYPD will be able to piece things together soon. If anyone around that area saw or heard anything suspicious, I hope they find the courage to come forward. Jermaine's family deserves answers and closure.
