Has anyone else been following the vigil and rally efforts in the Bronx after Jeremiah and Devren Smith's deaths? It's incredibly moving to see the community coming together, holding space for the victims and demanding change. I can't even begin to imagine the pain their family is going through, but seeing everyone rally around them must be a small comfort. I've been reading that many residents are pushing for more youth programs and community resources to address the root causes of violence. It’s a complex issue, and while arrests have been made, the focus on prevention is absolutely crucial. It’s a powerful reminder of the impact a community can have when they unite for a cause. Sending so much love to everyone who’s been affected by this.

I can’t stop thinking about the impact this tragic event must have had on the close-knit community in the Bronx. It's so important to remember how these incidents ripple outwards, affecting families, neighbors, and even people who just walked by the scene every day. The vigil held by the community speaks volumes about how deeply cherished Jeremiah and Devren were. It’s moments like this when the strength and unity of a community come to light, but it’s also frustrating to see how many times these calls for action seem to fall on deaf ears. I truly hope this incident sparks some real change. My deepest condolences to the Smith family and everyone involved. They deserve to live in a safer environment.
