Hey everyone, I've been following Eric Martin's case, and I can’t stop thinking about his family and friends dealing with this senseless tragedy. I read recently about the legal proceedings—I can't imagine what it must have been like for Eric's loved ones to go through the trial last year. The fact that he wasn't the intended target just adds to the unfairness of it all. It’s clear from everything I've read that Eric was truly an innocent person caught in a horrible situation. I wonder how the community is coping with this. It’s prompted a lot of discussions about gun violence in Rochester from what I've seen, but I hope those conversations translate to actual changes to prevent things like this from happening again.
