I've been following David Atkins’ case and something has been gnawing at me. The neighborhood where he lived in Atlanta—has anyone else noticed that there seemed to be a lack of security cameras or footage reported at the time of his murder? It strikes me as odd, especially since it's now a pretty common practice to have cameras at homes or businesses. I wonder if the lack of footage is a contributing factor to why the case is still unsolved. It must be incredibly frustrating for his family not to have more evidence. My thoughts go out to them as they continue to search for answers. If anyone lived in that area back then or knows if there were cameras that just weren't reported on, please share. Any little bit helps.
Have any locals noticed whether there were any significant changes in the neighborhood around the time of David Atkins' murder? I've been reflecting on similar unsolved cases, and it seems that sometimes small, easily overlooked details can be crucial. Even changes in street lighting, new residents, or businesses can stir new discussions and potential leads. I'm hoping that perhaps someone might remember a detail that seemed inconsequential at the time but could offer a new angle for investigators to consider. David's family deserves closure, and even the tiniest fact might help steer the case in a new direction.
