I can't stop thinking about the location where everything happened. Kirkwood, especially back in 2010, was a neighborhood in transition, with a mix of long-time residents and newcomers attracted by its character and charm. It's so unsettling to imagine someone like Everett Collins just out for a walk on an afternoon, and then things take such a tragic turn. It's such a tight-knit community, and I'm sure that his presence there is missed deeply. Does anyone know if there have been any community initiatives in honor of Everett, perhaps focusing on neighborhood safety or unity? It seems like remembering him and supporting each other could help people cope and maybe even lead to some answers someday. Thoughts and insights are always welcome.
I've been following Everett Collins's case, and something that's really been sticking with me is the location where it occurred. Kirkwood seems like such a peaceful neighborhood, and having a shooting happen in broad daylight is truly unsettling. It’s not only tragic for Mr. Collins and his family but also raises concerns about the safety of the community where something like this could happen out in the open. I can't imagine how painful it must be for his loved ones to not have answers after all this time. I hope anyone who knows something comes forward so his family can find some peace. The community really needs closure on this too. Sending my thoughts to everyone affected by this senseless act.
I've been thinking a lot about Everett Collins and the kind of person he must have been. From everything I've read, it sounds like he was really cherished by his family and community. It's so incredibly unfair that someone who had such a positive impact was taken in this way. I can't imagine the pain his loved ones must be feeling, especially with the case still unsolved after all these years.
I also wanted to bring up how important it is for anyone who was in the Kirkwood area back on that day, October 8, 2010, to think hard about anything they might have seen or heard, no matter how small it seems. Sometimes pieces of the smallest puzzle can make all the difference in solving a case like this. It's easy to forget small details over time, but there's still hope that someone will come forward with a crucial bit of info. My heart goes out to Everett's family, and I truly hope they find the answers and justice they deserve soon.
