I just can’t wrap my head around the senseless nature of Dawuand Darrien’s murder. It's so haunting to think that an argument can escalate to such violence in the blink of an eye. There’s speculation about a woman being involved in the commotion outside the building – I wonder if that played a role in why things turned so deadly. It's chilling how quickly someone’s life can be taken over something seemingly small. It's important we continue to witness for Dawuand and support his family, who are left to pick up the pieces. His kids, fiancée, and his mother are in my thoughts during this incredibly trying time. Keeping the pressure on for justice seems like the least we can do. Anyone else in the community notice an increase in these types of situations lately? It's all just so unnerving.
