I was reading about Kevin "Dylan" Rigdon's tragic passing and just couldn't stop thinking about his kids and their mom, Stefanie. The fact that they have to navigate through this world without him now is just so upsetting. I can't imagine the pain they're going through, especially during the holiday season, which is usually a time for family and togetherness. My heart goes out to them, and I hope they're finding strength in each other.
This case has so many layers, but what bugs me is why someone with Robinson's background was even in a position to do something like this. I understand he's been off parole for a while, but the system sometimes seems so broken when someone with such a past can still cause so much harm. It’s just so frustrating. Let's hope the justice system brings some measure of peace to Kevin’s family. Anyone else have thoughts on how we can better support families during times like these?
It's so unsettling to hear about Kevin Rigdon's tragic death outside the RTS Transit Center. Something that really caught my attention was Robinson's background—that he's a registered sex offender who, despite multiple convictions, managed to get his hands on a firearm. I'm shocked that someone with such a significant criminal history could obtain a weapon so easily.
Kevin seemed to be a beloved figure in his family, and my heart goes out to them, especially knowing the pain they must feel with the kids growing up without their dad. As the community begins to heal, I hope discussions arise about how we can better prevent individuals with violent pasts from getting firearms. It's crucial that we address these gaps to keep our streets safer. Sending strength and love to all who knew Kevin and to the person who survived the attack.
