Hey everyone, this is such a devastating case, and my thoughts are with Jazeke Samuels' family and friends right now. I wanted to talk about the impact this is having on the surrounding community in Harlem. Legend's Exotic Candy Shop wasn't just a business; it was a gathering spot for locals, especially the youth in the neighborhood. I've read that community members are feeling not only saddened but also fearful after this attack. It seems like it's another reminder of how quickly violence can disrupt everyday life. There's already talk about whether nearby businesses should start taking extra security measures, like installing better cameras or hiring security personnel. Has anyone else in the area noticed changes in how these businesses are operating or shifts in community sentiment? I'm hoping that maybe increased vigilance will at least prevent similar tragedies in the future. Stay safe, everyone, and let's keep supporting each other through this tough time.
