Anyone else curious about why Walter Ed Kersey wasn’t reported missing until two years after he vanished? I can't wrap my head around that. I understand families sometimes wait because they think the person will come back or stay in touch, but two years seems really long. Did I miss something in any of the updates? It just feels odd for family or friends not to have reached out sooner, especially since their last contact was months before he disappeared. Also, what was Walter like? Did he keep in touch with neighbors or friends who might have more info? I'm hoping for more details or theories to shed light on this.
I'm really puzzled by the timeline in Walter Ed Kersey's case. How is it that someone can vanish and not be reported missing for two whole years? I can't imagine not hearing from a loved one for such a long time without sounding the alarms. It makes me wonder about his personal relationships and what might have been happening in his life at that time to cause such a delay. Was his family possibly expecting him to go off the grid for a while, or did they just assume he was living his life elsewhere? I feel like there are so many questions that haven't been addressed publicly, especially about what his situation was back in 2019 when they last had contact. It seems unusual for sure. Anyone have any thoughts or insights on this kind of delayed report scenario?
I came across Walter Ed Kersey's case recently, and one detail that sticks out to me is the delay in officially reporting him missing. Does anyone have insights into why it took two years for his family or anyone else to file a missing person's report? It seems unusual, especially since his last sighting was on his birthday. I wonder if there were any misconceptions or assumptions about his whereabouts during that time. Maybe his family thought he was trying to reconnect elsewhere or lay low for personal reasons? I'd love to hear what others think or if anyone has come across similar situations in other cases. It's troubling that there's so little to go on even years later.
