Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Jeffrey Lopez's murder and something that hasn't been discussed much is the impact on the neighborhood where the shooting took place. East 187th Street and Beaumont Avenue is usually a bustling area, full of life with people going about their daily routines. To think an incident like this occurred there is unsettling for the entire community. It makes me wonder how businesses and residents in the area are coping. Are they more anxious now when they're out and about? Have any community meetings been organized to discuss safety or increasing security measures? The ripple effects of such violence can really shatter the sense of safety people feel in their own neighborhood. It's just so sad for everyone involved, and I truly hope the community can find some peace and healing. If anyone from that area is on here, how are you all holding up?
