It's incredibly distressing to hear about what happened. I can't believe this happened in the Sheepshead Bay Houses, an area that hasn't seen much violence this year. It makes you wonder why things like this happen out of nowhere. The precinct hadn’t reported any homicides through nearly half of 2024, and then this. It’s a heavy reminder of how fragile peace can be in any neighborhood. My heart goes out to Rahquill's family and friends.
Also, it’s concerning that the NYPD still hasn’t identified any suspects or motives at this point. With all those shell casings found, it seems like there must be more to this. Maybe someone saw something or knows more than they’ve shared. These cases can hinge on the smallest details, and I hope anyone with information steps forward to help. As a community, we owe it to Rahquill and his loved ones to press for answers and justice.
