I keep thinking about the surveillance footage showing Chad Irish transporting Yazmeen's body. I can’t get over the audacity it must have taken to do something like that in broad daylight. It’s like there was such a blatant disregard not just for Yazmeen’s life but also for the possibility of actually getting caught. What’s more chilling is the fact that he was using a wheelchair to do it! I live a few blocks away, and it’s terrifying to think that something so horrifying happened right under our noses. Seeing the makeshift memorial for Yazmeen is a constant reminder of how cruel this world can be. Her family sounds wonderful, and I can only imagine how devastated they must be. It’s incredible to read about her ambitions and how she had just begun a new chapter in her life with her job. My heart goes out to her twin brother and sister. I wonder how this case will unfold in court, especially with Irish’s extensive criminal record. It’s infuriating to think about someone like him, with such a history, being back on the streets and capable of such violence. This tragic event raises so many questions about our justice and parole systems.

Has anyone else noticed how peculiar it is that Irish was supposedly able to maneuver a whole sleeping bag and dolly while in a motorized wheelchair? I’m curious about the logistics of this. It’s mind-boggling to think he managed to transport Yazmeen’s body in such a way without anyone intervening or noticing something was off. It makes me wonder if he had assistance or if there were gaps in surveillance. This whole situation must be so deeply distressing for her family, having to grapple with these questions on top of their devastating loss. And to think Yazmeen had her whole future ahead of her, working towards becoming a lawyer—her potential unfulfilled. This case keeps raising more questions than answers, and I hope her family sees justice soon.

Has anyone else seen the footage of Chad Irish allegedly moving Yazmeen's body with that dolly? It absolutely chills me to think that someone could do that so methodically. Given his criminal history, you'd think there would've been more oversight once he was out on parole. I mean, six prior felony convictions and already a previous murder charge from the '90s? It's maddening and tragic for Yazmeen and her family, who have to find a way to navigate this immense loss. I hope for the community’s sake, and hers, that justice is truly served and that this case helps prevent anything similar from happening again. Sending love and strength to Yazmeen’s family—her aspirations and love for her siblings should always be remembered.
