I’ve been following the tragic case of Miguel Cruz, and something that's been on my mind is the role of community surveillance footage in investigations like this. I’m curious whether any security tapes from around the area helped identify the car or suspect. Considering 1600 Sedgwick Avenue is a busy area, it seems likely there could be cameras that might have caught something. It’s so frustrating to think any clue that could bring closure to Cruz's family might be sitting undiscovered on a tape somewhere. I really hope investigators are looking into this, and I wonder if anyone from the neighborhood has heard about efforts being made to gather such evidence. My heart goes out to his family — it's unbearable to imagine what they're going through.
