Hey everyone, I'm just really at a loss over the whole situation in Syosset involving the DeLucia family. What really baffles me is how Joseph DeLucia Jr. managed to get his hands on that shotgun without having a permit. It's concerning to think about how accessible firearms can be if someone is determined enough. I'm not sure if they found out yet where or how he got it, but it makes me wonder about the security of legal and illegal channels out there. It's such a tragedy that this lapse in regulation could potentially have contributed to something like this. My heart goes out to the families affected, especially for the friends and colleagues of Tina Hammond. She seemed like such a wonderful person who brought so much joy to those around her. I'm just hoping for better measures to prevent something like this from happening again in the future. ? What's everyone else's thoughts on this? Is there enough being done to track and control firearms in situations where they shouldn't end up in the wrong hands? Stay safe out there, [Username]

I keep thinking about Tina Hammond and how her life touched so many people. Even after moving back to Long Island, she seemed to have made quite an impression on her new coworkers at Giunta's Meat Farm. It's not easy starting over, but from what her colleagues shared, she brought the same positive energy and kindness that she was known for in the salon industry. It's devastating to think about the bright light she's no longer bringing to those around her. I can't even begin to imagine the pain her friends and family are experiencing right now. I hope the authorities can piece together what led to this horrible outcome and hopefully bring some understanding, if not peace, to those left behind. If anyone has more information about the situation or how to support Tina's loved ones during this time, please share.

I still can’t wrap my head around the entire DeLucia family tragedy. I want to take a moment to remember Tina Hammond. It's clear she touched so many lives. I've read nothing but beautiful things about her; she sounds like she was a real gem. Her bubbly and kind nature brought so much positivity to those around her. It must be incredibly hard for her colleagues at the salon and Giunta's Meat Farm who worked alongside her. I find it heartbreaking to think about how much she had to offer and how much her presence meant to people. It’s devastating that all her kindness and energy were lost in such a senseless act. Does anyone know if there’s a memorial set up for her or maybe a fund to help the family with arrangements? Would love to contribute somehow. Sending love to those grieving this immense loss. Stay strong, all.
