I’ve been following the case of Ying Zhu Liu with heavy thoughts. What strikes me most is the courage she showed coming out of her apartment to protect her family. It's devastating to think that an ordinary evening turned so violently tragic. The fact that it happened in their own building, a place supposed to feel safe, is deeply unsettling. The family must be going through unimaginable pain, especially Liu's son, who tried to help his father and ended up witnessing such an unimaginable loss. The community’s anxiety is valid, and it's crucial we talk about how we can prevent such tragedies in the future. I hope more people come forward with information to help catch the ones still out there. Stay safe, everyone, and let's support this family and each other through this difficult time.
