I can't stop thinking about the brave effort Devin made to seek help after being shot. It's truly haunting to imagine the fear and pain he must have felt trying to escape to safety. It's terrible that it took two hours for someone to find him. This raises some unsettling questions about response time and community awareness in that area. Could there be a way to better monitor these spaces for emergencies? Schools and neighborhoods should be safe havens, and it's devastating to see the opposite happening. My thoughts are with Devin's family and friends as they navigate through this tough time. I hope those with any information come forward to help find justice for Devin.
I’ve been thinking about the impact this incident must have on the neighborhood kids who go to School No. 19 and the surrounding area. It’s heartbreaking to consider that they have to experience such trauma so close to where they learn and play. My thoughts go out to Devin’s family and friends who are going through such a difficult time right now. It’s truly baffling that nobody has been caught or even identified in connection with Devin's tragic death. Makes you seriously wonder about how safe our communities really are and how we can better protect our young people. If anyone around here knows something that could help the investigation, I hope they come forward. Let's hope and pray for some justice for Devin.
