I can't stop thinking about how brave Troy must have been in those final moments. To confront someone armed in an alley, trying to protect his colleagues—it's a level of courage I can't even begin to comprehend. It’s so gut-wrenching to think that someone can be taken away in such a senseless act, especially when they were just trying to help others. My heart really goes out to his family and friends. I can't imagine the loss they're dealing with right now. I hope they find some comfort in knowing how much he clearly cared for others. It's awful to see how violence can erupt in places we think of as safe. We all deserve better.

I've been following the recent events in Maryland Heights and can't seem to shake the senselessness of it all. I keep thinking about the kind of courage it must have taken for Troy Millick to confront the suspect outside PrideStaff during that awful ordeal. From what I can gather, Troy faced an incredibly dangerous situation but still tried to stand up to protect others and himself. It's just really hard to comprehend how things escalated to such a horrific outcome. My heart truly goes out to his family, friends, and colleagues who have to process this devastating loss. I hope justice is served and that they find some peace in community support. It's vital that we all continue to discuss these issues and push for measures that can prevent workplace violence in the future.

Did anyone else see the news about Troy Millick's funeral? Such a gut-wrenching ordeal for his family. From what I've gathered, he was beloved in his community and had just started volunteering with a local youth group. It seems like he had so much ahead of him, and this senseless act just ripped all of that away. I keep wondering about the psychological impact on those who witnessed the incident and worked with him. Imagine having to walk back into a place every day where you experienced something so traumatic. Does anyone know if PrideStaff is offering counseling to their employees? It's essential to provide support in the aftermath of such violence. My thoughts go out to everyone dealing with the fallout from this nightmare.
