Hey everyone, I've been following Dejuana Cawley's case, and I can't help but feel for her family, especially her daughter, Tynika. It must be incredibly frustrating and painful not having answers for so long. I was reading about other cold cases in Savannah and noticed that a lack of witness cooperation seems to be a common theme. I wonder if there's more that could be done to encourage people to come forward.
With what little we know, it seems like there might be more potential witnesses than what's been shared publicly. I often think about how fear or mistrust can keep people from speaking up. Perhaps if there were more community outreach programs or efforts to build trust with residents, it might help.
Does anyone know if there have been any recent efforts in Savannah to bridge these gaps? Or maybe there's a community organization working towards improving cooperation with law enforcement? It would be great to see more initiatives that aim to support families like Dejuana's in their fight for justice.
It's been so many years, and it's devastating that Dejuana Cawley's family still has no answers. I can't even imagine the pain they must feel every day knowing the person responsible is still out there. I remember reading that forensic technology has made huge advancements over the years. Does anyone know if the police have considered re-examining evidence from the Cawley case with newer methods? Sometimes cold cases get a breakthrough when older evidence is looked at with fresh eyes and updated technology. It’s frustrating and sad that there hasn't been any movement, but I’m holding onto hope that justice will eventually be served for Dejuana and her family. If anyone has any info, even something seemingly minor, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Dejuana and her family deserve closure.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been reading up on Dejuana Cawley’s case and something that stood out to me is the timing of the shooting. It happened early in the morning, which makes me wonder about the activity in that neighborhood around that time. Does anyone know if there were any surveillance cameras in the area or if any neighbors reported seeing or hearing anything unusual before the gunshots? It’s been over a decade, and this case really deserves more attention.
To think of her daughter Tynika growing up without her mom breaks my heart. I can’t imagine the pain her family is going through. If anyone here from the Savannah area knows more about what was happening in that neighborhood back then, even little details might help piece together the timeline. Here's hoping someone comes forward to give Dejuana’s loved ones the closure they need.
