I'm really curious about the timeline of events leading up to Carl Stewart’s tragic death. It’s so unsettling to think about how something like this could escalate so quickly in what must have been a very tense situation. What really stood out to me in this case is the fact that Stewart and Rogers had checked into the hotel together. It seems like they knew each other, but what was their relationship like beforehand?
I wonder what brought them to that hotel in the first place, and whether there were any signs of trouble before things took this fatal turn. My heart goes out to Carl's family and friends. I can't even begin to imagine what they’re going through, trying to make sense of losing someone they cared about so deeply. It also makes me think about Makail Rogers. Despite what happened, he’s a person too, with his own story and struggles, and it’s tragic that this situation ended in violence.
If anyone has more information about their relationship or what might have led to this encounter, please share your thoughts. Every bit of understanding helps piece together such an awful event.
Does anyone else find the detail about the window really strange? If Rogers was trying to exit and re-enter the hotel room through the window, it almost makes you wonder what was going on in that moment. Was he trying to flee initially but then decided to go back for something—or was he just in panic mode and didn’t know what to do? It’s heartbreaking to think about Carl Stewart’s last moments and how chaotic it must’ve been. I can’t even imagine what his family is going through right now. I hope they can find some peace in all of this. I'm also curious about the bond set for Rogers; does anyone have thoughts on how that might affect the trial process?
Has anyone else found the surveillance footage particularly compelling in Carl Stewart's case? I can't help but think there's more to it than initially meets the eye. The clip showing Makail Rogers trying to exit and then re-enter the hotel room through a window raises so many questions for me. Why would he choose such a risky escape route unless there was something more happening inside that room? If his claim about self-defense holds any water, wouldn’t he have immediately sought help rather than using a window to exit?
It's so disheartening to think about what Carl might have gone through in those final moments, especially if there was a struggle. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones who must be going through such a difficult time. I hope the investigation gives them some clarity and justice. Anyone else have thoughts on the footage or the case details?
