Is anyone else here frustrated by the presence of firearms at this scene? It feels like the whole situation escalated so quickly and unnecessarily because guns were introduced into the mix. It makes me wonder what might have happened if neither James nor Grigsby were armed that day. My thoughts are with Donell’s family as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. And I hope that the ongoing investigation can provide some clear answers about what really went down. I also wonder how we can help prevent similar situations in the future—perhaps through community outreach or education. Such a tragic loss.
