Has anyone else been following the recent tragedy in St. Louis? The loss of Erik Alford-Smith has really stuck with me. I’ve been thinking about the role of community support in times like these. I know it’s not the main focus when tragedies happen, but the way Penrose residents are pulling together, advocating for peace and safety, is incredibly inspiring. It’s always so sad to see gun violence strike, but knowing there are dedicated organizations working towards positive change gives me some hope. How do you all think community involvement can be better fostered in neighborhoods facing similar issues? Would love to hear your thoughts or any experiences you might have with community actions making a difference!
