Did anyone else notice how troubling it is that the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood has seen such a rise in violence over the years? Garrett Davis's murder is another tragic reminder of how dangerous things have gotten. My heart goes out to his loved ones; no one should have to experience such a terrible loss. It's concerning that we know nothing yet about who might have been involved. I really hope someone comes forward with information that can help the police. It just feels like the community needs a way to come together and combat this cycle of violence. How can we foster a safer environment when people are too scared to speak up?
