Hey everyone. I’ve been following the McBride case, and something that's been on my mind is the location of the crime. Carondelet is usually a pretty quiet neighborhood, so this whole tragedy feels really out of place there. It's unsettling to think that something so violent could happen in an area that’s otherwise kind of peaceful. It's got to make the local community feel uneasy knowing a situation like this went down in their backyard. Also, I can’t imagine how the witness must be feeling after being involved in such a terrifying situation. It’s such a brave thing to come forward and help the investigation, especially after being threatened. I hope everyone in the area takes time to support each other during such a difficult time. We never know when such senseless acts can occur, even in places we think are safe. Stay safe out there, everyone.

Does anyone else find it really disturbing that McBride's murder could have easily involved more people? That witness could have been in serious danger when Gray pointed a gun at her. It makes me think about how vulnerable people are when they're just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Even just witnessing something can put you in harm's way. My heart goes out to McBride's family and to the witness too. I hope she's getting the support she needs after experiencing something so scary. It's terrifying to think how quickly things can escalate. I wonder if more details about Gray’s past will surface during the trial. It’s hard to wrap your head around how someone could resort to something like this. Let's hope justice is served.
