I'm still trying to wrap my head around what happened to Theus Dewberry. It's just so strange to think someone can go out for a night at a bar and end up in such a horrible situation. It makes you wonder about the company some of these places might attract or if there are better ways to de-escalate conflicts before they explode into violence. I don't know, maybe more security or something?
I'm also really puzzled about Keylen Madge turning himself in with his lawyer. Was that planned as a way to show cooperation, or are there parts of this story we're still missing? My heart really goes out to Theus's family and friends. They must be going through unimaginable pain right now. I hope the community can come together to support them and push for change to prevent these tragedies. What are your thoughts? How can these kinds of situations be prevented in the future?
Has anyone been following the Theus Dewberry case? My heart goes out to his family and friends after such a senseless loss. It’s shocking to think about how quickly a night can turn violent over what probably started as a minor disagreement. The uptick in violence just makes me sad and worried for our community.
I’m curious about the role that surveillance footage played here. It sounds like it was pivotal in identifying Keylen Madge as a suspect. It must be a tough situation for everyone involved, and I hope the video evidence brings some clarity and justice to this tragedy. But beyond that, does anyone have thoughts on what more can be done to curb the violence in KC? We need to find a way to prevent such tragedies from becoming the norm.
