While following this case, I can't stop thinking about the senselessness of the motive. It’s terrifying to think that a mere look could escalate into such a horrific act of violence. Everyone who takes public transportation should be able to feel safe. I can’t even imagine the trauma experienced by the other passengers who witnessed this needless violence—or Jorge Pinzon’s family, who are now grappling with such an unimaginable loss. Has there been any update on measures being taken to improve safety for those who rely on the MetroBus? It seems like the entire community is in limbo waiting for something to be done. My heart goes out to all who are suffering.
