I can't stop thinking about the ShotSpotter notifications that went off that night. It's eerie to know technology picked up something so alarming, yet there was a substantial delay before anything got looked into. It really makes you question how effective these systems are if they don't lead to immediate action. I understand there might be limitations, but with Phillip Walters losing his life, it's hard not to wonder if the response time could have changed the outcome. My heart goes out to his family and friends having to deal with not only the loss but also lingering questions about how this tragedy unfolded. I hope the community's concerns about policing and safety are taken seriously moving forward.
