I’ve been thinking a lot about the equipment Dean Yelton took with him the day he vanished. Has anyone else considered why he would bring a chainsaw with his camping gear? It's not the most common item for a typical hiking and camping trip, right? Could it have something to do with his plans or the area he was heading to? Maybe there's a specific reason or task he intended to complete while he was out there. I know some folks use chainsaws to clear out trails or for firewood, but I can’t help but wonder if it could be a clue as to what he was planning, or maybe it could help authorities narrow down potential sights where he might have set up camp. Thoughts?
Has anyone else been struck by the uniqueness of the items Dean had with him when he disappeared? A chainsaw and a blue tarp aren't exactly standard hiking gear. I know everyone familiar with outdoor activities has their own methods and tools, but the chainsaw stands out. Could it mean he had specific plans or tasks in mind during his trip? Maybe he intended to clear a path or gather firewood? Or perhaps it was something only he understood as part of his regular activities? It makes me wonder if there's a possibility he met someone along the way who might have needed such equipment or if it played a role in his disappearance. If anyone else has thoughts on this or similar experiences in those woods, let's try to piece together what might have happened.
