I can't stop thinking about the surveillance footage from that day. It's so unsettling to know that the confrontation only lasted a little over two minutes, yet it ended so tragically. How can something escalate that quickly? Ronald Barnett's family must be going through an unimaginable time right now. I can't imagine the pain they're feeling knowing that he was just doing something as ordinary as visiting a Walmart. And to think that the alleged shooter was a former police officer—it's just chilling. It makes you wonder about the kind of training and mindset that comes from a background in law enforcement. I'm keeping Barnett's family in my thoughts and hoping they get the justice they're seeking in the upcoming court proceedings.
