Does anyone else find it unsettling how often we hear about tragic accidents stemming from assumed “unloaded” guns? It’s difficult to wrap my head around the fact that a simple mistake can have such devastating consequences. My heart really goes out to Jonathan’s family—losing someone in such a senseless way must be incredibly painful. It sounds like Jonathan was a wonderful person with so much potential. The fact that he's helping others as an organ donor speaks volumes about his character. On a side note, I wonder how effective gun safety education is in preventing these situations. It seems like there’s a big gap somewhere, and honestly, it’s terrifying to think about how common these so-called accidents might be. If anyone has resources or info on gun safety initiatives, I’d be curious to learn more.
