Has anyone else been following the Prewett case in Florissant? It's so surreal and deeply saddening to think about someone like Robert Dale Prewett, who lived such a full life and served his country, meeting such a tragic end. The fact that he was just doing something as ordinary as yard work makes it even more upsetting. I really feel for his family and the entire community that's been rocked by this. I've been reading about how they all see him as a kind and generous person. The community support and shared grief speak volumes about the man he was. I'm curious about the role of surveillance footage in these kinds of investigations. They say it captured the suspect right after the incident. It must be a painful yet crucial piece of evidence for the family to know that the authorities have something tangible to work with. Does anyone know how often footage like this directly leads to arrests? It's good to see the investigation moving forward, but it's also a stark reminder of how fragile life can be. I hope they find justice for Mr. Prewett and some sense of peace for those who loved him.
