I was thinking about the impact of this tragedy on the local community, especially in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. It's a place where people should feel safe walking to the store, but now fear has taken over. I can't help but feel for the families who have to relive those terrifying moments, not knowing if their loved ones will be safe every time they step out. It's devastating that this happened in an area that's part of so many people's daily lives. I hope justice is served swiftly and that the community can start to heal. It's also important for folks with any information to please step up. Silence doesn't help bring closure. Stay safe, everyone.
I can't stop thinking about the chilling amount of gunshots reported that evening. Nearly two dozen! It's hard to imagine the fear and chaos that must have erupted at the scene. My heart goes out to Al-Supreme Davis's loved ones and also to the three others injured. Does anyone else find it strange that there haven't been any arrests yet? With so many shots fired and witnesses around, you'd think there would be more leads. Hopefully, the community steps forward with crucial information. Let’s keep sharing anything that might help bring justice to the victims. Stay safe, everyone.
