Hi everyone, I've been following the case of Kelcey "Skeet" Thornton, and I can't stop thinking about the impact on his family and friends. I recently read about the vigil held in his honor, and it's both touching and haunting. It really shows just how much he meant to his community. To see so many people come together like that tells you he was a special person. I find myself wondering what more we as a community can do to support them. It's been years, and the lack of answers must be so exhausting for those who loved him. Maybe sharing our thoughts and spreading awareness could help keep the momentum going in the search for justice. Perhaps someone out there holds a piece of information that could finally lead to a breakthrough. If any of you have ideas on how to help, or if you've experienced supporting a family through something similar, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Take care and thanks for reading. ?

I recently came across Kelcey "Skeet" Thornton's case while diving deep into unsolved crimes in Atlanta, and I felt compelled to discuss something that caught my attention. I'm curious about the role of the neighborhood's dynamics during that time. Peoplestown, from what I understand, has undergone significant changes over the years. In 2014, it seemed like a community undergoing transformation and maybe even tension. Could it be that these changes, whether socio-economic or cultural, played a part in what happened to Skeet? I’ve read that he was well-loved and that his loss devastated his friends and family. It makes me think about how community ties might help or hinder investigations like this one. Did anyone in the neighborhood see something that night but felt too scared to speak up? Was there an underlying issue in the area that could have led to such violence? I can’t stop thinking about how Skeet’s family and friends must feel, carrying this burden for so long without having answers. My heart goes out to them, and I hope that we, as a community, can keep the conversation going to help bring some clarity and justice. Every little bit of information helps—especially for his loved ones who deserve to know the truth.
