I've been following the recent events in Camden, particularly the tragic case of Antwan Burdett. It’s so overwhelming to see another young life taken so cruelly. My thoughts are with Antwan’s family and friends during this unimaginable time. What really strikes me about this situation is the response from the community. I’ve read accounts from local residents who feel stuck between fear and the desire to reclaim their neighborhood from violence. It's a shame that people have to worry about their safety in their own communities. The fact that no arrests have been made must be incredibly frustrating for both the police and locals who just want to see justice served and a semblance of peace return. With the proximity of Antwan’s and Alberto DeJesus’s shootings, it’s hard not to wonder if there's a connection or if something larger is at play here. If anyone has any thoughts about potential suspects or leads that could help the investigation, it would be great to hear them. Also, sharing how the community is coping might shed light on what more could be done to support them. More than anything, I hope that soon we’ll see some breakthrough in both cases.
