I've been following the South Plainfield tragedy closely, and something that's been on my mind is the mental state of Om Brahmbhatt leading up to these events. From what I've read, he was very calm during his court appearance, which makes me wonder about his psychological background. It's so hard to comprehend how someone could do something like this to their own family. I can't imagine the pain the remaining family members must be experiencing right now. It reminds me that we often don’t know what someone is going through beneath the surface. I hope that the investigation sheds light on any underlying issues that may have contributed to this, and that it leads to a better understanding of how similar tragedies might be prevented in the future. My heart goes out to the friends and family of the victims as they navigate through this unimaginable time.
