I've been following the tragic case of Tijere Jackson, and my heart goes out to his family and friends who are dealing with such an unimaginable loss. I recently came across some discussion about how surveillance footage played a crucial role in identifying Marcus D. Williams as the suspect. It's amazing to see technology aiding in getting justice, but it also highlights the importance of having proper infrastructure in place in communities. A lot of times, these cameras can serve as a silent witness when people are too scared or intimidated to talk. Has anyone else wondered if the presence of more surveillance cameras in that area could potentially prevent future incidents? I understand there are privacy concerns, but maybe there's a way to find a balance. It's such a shame that it takes a loss like this to bring up these discussions, but hopefully, something good can come out of it, like improved safety measures. Continuing to think of Tijere's loved ones and standing in solidarity with everyone seeking justice for him.
