I've been following the Dermond case for a while, and one aspect that truly boggles my mind is the lack of evidence pointing towards any potential suspects. It's hard to imagine that in such a close-knit, gated community, no one saw or heard anything suspicious right around the time of two such heinous murders. How could someone or multiple people carry out something so brutal without leaving behind significant clues? My heart goes out to the Dermond family and the community for having to live with the uncertainty. It makes me wonder if there’s more to the story that we're missing or perhaps something not yet uncovered. I hope that investigators continue to search diligently; the Dermonds and their loved ones truly deserve justice and answers.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Dermond case for a while now, and there’s something that's been puzzling me. What kind of person—or people—can carry out such cold and calculated actions? I mean, to decapitate Russell and then go through all the trouble to weigh Shirley down with concrete blocks is beyond comprehension. It speaks to extreme determination to cover up the crime or perhaps send a message. It's truly disturbing to think multiple individuals could have been involved, like layers unfolding in some sinister plan. I can't imagine what the Dermonds’ family must be going through knowing such heinous actions were inflicted upon their loved ones. If there was no forced entry, could the perpetrators have been known to them or had some inside information about their habits? Still hoping someone comes forward or some new evidence emerges to bring justice for the Dermonds. Any thoughts on why nothing seems to be coming out after all these years?

I've been following the Dermond case closely, and one thing that's always caught my attention is the lack of forced entry at their home. It's so unsettling to think about how someone—or possibly several people—could have gotten into the house and carried out these horrific acts without leaving a trace. It makes me wonder if the killers were somehow familiar with the home, maybe even someone the Dermonds knew or trusted. I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been for Shirley, especially if she came home to find what happened to Russell. It's so sad to think about what they both went through. The fact that there's still no clear motive or suspects makes it even more confusing and painful for their family. I really hope one day we learn the truth about what happened and see justice for the Dermonds. Has anyone come across similar cases where the crime scene didn't show signs of forced entry? Could it mean the perpetrators were let in willingly?
