I’ve been following Elijah Buffaloe’s case closely, and I just can't shake the feeling of how surreal this all is. It’s incredibly sad that someone who seemed to genuinely care for his community had his life end so abruptly. I didn't know Elijah personally, but I had heard about his work with kids at Lenna Conrow School and how much he was loved by his students. It’s often the people who give so much to others who leave such a huge void when they're gone.
I keep thinking about his kids and the impact this must have on them. Losing a parent is unimaginable, especially as young as they are. Grief can be a complex journey, and I hope they find the support and strength they need. Has anyone heard about the GoFundMe campaign doing? It’s heartening to see the community coming together for his family, but it just feels like more needs to be done.
Does anyone else on here think this was a random act, or does it seem more targeted? It’s unsettling that there’s no known motive and still no arrests. I hope someone comes forward soon with information that can lead to answers and justice for Elijah and his family. If you’re local and know anything, please contact the authorities—every little bit can help.
I was truly touched by the outpouring of support from the Long Branch community for Elijah Buffaloe’s family. It’s evident he left a lasting impression on everyone around him. Seeing how the community has come together to support the GoFundMe campaign is a testament to how much Elijah meant to them. I didn’t know him personally, but I’ve heard from friends in the area that he could always light up a room with his laughter. It’s utterly devastating that this happened while celebrating what should have been a joyous occasion.
I can't imagine what his kids must be going through right now. Losing a parent at such a young age is beyond comprehension. I hope the authorities can find some answers soon to give the family some peace and justice. If anyone in the area was out that night or knows anything, please reach out to the investigators. Every piece of information could be crucial. Sending love and strength to his family and all those who knew and loved him.
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to jump in and talk about what a bright light Elijah Buffaloe was to so many people in Long Branch. I've been reading the coverage and a few posts here about this awful tragedy, and it's clear he was someone who truly made a difference. I had a chance to meet him a couple of times through some local community events, and his warmth and genuine nature were hard to miss.
It's gut-wrenching to think about his family right now, especially his kids. Elijah was so committed to his work and his community, always putting in the effort to help others. It's admirable how everyone has pulled together through the GoFundMe to try and ease the burden on his family. It just shows the impact he had on everyone around him.
I really hope justice is served, and I strongly urge anyone with even a shred of info to come forward. No detail is too small. His family deserves answers and closure. Let’s keep his memory alive by staying engaged and supporting each other.
