I've been thinking a lot about the two little dogs Ekaterina and Ilya left behind. Animals can be such sensitive creatures, and I can't help but wonder what they sensed or experienced in those final moments. It breaks my heart to imagine them in that house. I'm so relieved they were unharmed and are now safe at the Monmouth County SPCA. Does anyone know if there's a way to help them find a good home? In these awful situations, it's easy to overlook the pets who are also affected. I just hope they can eventually feel safe and loved again. If anyone has insights on how to support the SPCA or if they need supplies, please share. It's one small thing we can do amidst this terrible tragedy.
