Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Oscar Guerrier, and I really feel for his family and friends during this unimaginably tough time. Something that's been on my mind a lot is the location of where he was found. It's so close to Glassboro High School and Bowe Elementary, and that really makes it hit home even harder. I've noticed how the proximity to these schools has people, especially parents with kids attending, feeling pretty uneasy despite the police saying there's no continuous threat. It makes me wonder how kids and school staff are coping, and if there's been any talk from the school districts about extra support or safety measures.
Schools are supposed to be safe places, and this happening so close to them must have sparked some tough conversations with the students. If there’s anyone from Glassboro schools here, I’d be curious to learn about how your community is handling this and if there's anything others can do to support them right now.

I can't stop thinking about the proximity of the crime scene to the schools. I have kids who attend Bowe Elementary, and this hits so close to home, literally and emotionally. It’s chilling to think that something so horrific could happen just steps away from where our children learn and play. I appreciate that the authorities have said there’s no threat to the community now, but it doesn’t erase the unease that many parents like myself are surely feeling. I sincerely hope that justice for Oscar and answers for his family are found soon. It’s a reminder to hold our loved ones a bit closer and to remain vigilant in these uncertain times.
