Has anyone else noticed how the Danville PD has been proactively involving the community after these tragic events? I think the H.E.A.R.T. Walk organized by them on June 23rd was a really positive step. It must be incredibly difficult for Joe Martin’s family and friends, and seeing the community come together in support can hopefully bring some level of comfort and healing. It’s crucial that we have open dialogues about preventing violence and supporting those affected by it. What are your thoughts on the effectiveness of community engagement like this in the wake of such incidents?
