I can't stop thinking about how senseless the loss of Jalaun Colbert is. I've been following the case and one thing that I can't get out of my mind is the impact this must have on his family and friends. Imagine receiving a call saying your loved one was gravely injured, then holding onto hope for six long days, only to have that hope shattered. It just hits so hard. The community really needs to rally around these families, to help support them in their time of sorrow. It’s moments like these that make me appreciate every moment with my own loved ones. Also, to everyone who attended the viewing at Metropolitan Funeral Service, it must have been incredibly challenging, but it’s so important to come together to honor Jalaun’s life. Holding space for his family and sending them strength during this unimaginable time. If anyone has any updates or more information, please keep sharing. Every detail could help in finding justice and peace for his loved ones.
