It's so upsetting to hear about JJ's case—such a promising young man with his whole life ahead of him. I'm curious about the music path JJ was on before everything happened. I read he was an outstanding musician and even won awards during high school. Does anyone know if he was involved with any local bands or music projects when he came back to Roanoke? Or maybe if he was sharing his music online somewhere? It sounds like music was a big part of who he was. His family has been through so much, and I just hope they find some peace knowing how many lives JJ touched with his talent and spirit. ??
