James Roy Griffin III, known as "JJ," was a 22-year-old resident of Roanoke, Virginia, who tragically lost his life on July 10, 2023. Born on November 23, 2000, JJ was a graduate of William Fleming High School, where he excelled academically and athletically. He graduated with honors in 2019 and was recognized for his achievements in music and sports, including winning the Outstanding Musician Award and playing football and lacrosse.
