Hi everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Kyonne Deontrie Edwards and A'shoneya Williams, and something that's been really bugging me is the malfunctioning security camera at their apartment complex. It's baffling and frustrating to think that a crucial piece of evidence could have been lost simply because the camera wasn't working. I wonder how often this happens in other cases too—where potential breakthroughs slip through the cracks because of faulty tech. Has anyone else noticed issues like this in unsolved cases? It just feels like such a significant oversight and a heartbreaking missed opportunity to catch the person responsible for taking the lives of two young people with so much promise ahead of them. Hoping the Smithfield community can come together, and someone who knows something will have the courage to come forward. My thoughts are with the families and friends of Kyonne and A'shoneya. They truly deserve justice and closure.

I've been following the Edwards-Williams case since it happened last year, and I just can’t get over the fact that a community as tight-knit as Smithfield has been left with no answers. It’s so frustrating to think about how a simple malfunction in the security system can hinder the progress of such an important investigation. I can’t imagine the pain their families are enduring, waiting for any news or closure. Kyonne and A’shoneya seemed like such wonderful people, full of life and potential, and it's just devastating that their futures were cut short in such a brutal way. I grew up in a similar community, and it's surreal to think how something like this could happen right under everyone's noses without anyone seeing a suspect. The police are doing what they can, but I wonder if there are more resources or experts out there who could assist? Maybe it's time we start looking beyond local help and get some outside perspective involved before more time slips away? If anyone in the forum has insights into similar cases or suggestions on how communities have rallied together in situations like this, please share. We need to keep talking about Kyonne and A’shoneya. They deserve justice, and their families deserve peace.
