It’s deeply concerning how Oakley’s foster family was essentially cut off from updates after she was returned to her biological parents. They genuinely seemed to care about her safety and well-being, and it’s puzzling why their alarms didn’t trigger earlier intervention. It makes me wonder about the communication and oversight in these reunification processes. Were there any follow-ups, and if not, why not? The fact that she wasn't reported missing until months later is alarming in itself. It just seems like there were so many missed opportunities to check in on Oakley's situation.
