Hey everyone, I've been following the 2015 Mells and Green murder case, and there's something that's been bugging me about the investigation. Why did it take so many years for them to reopen the case and finally arrest Stanley Hall, John Baker, and Jerrell Williams? It sounds like they had suspects way back when the murders happened but just let them go. I get that sometimes evidence isn't there initially, but after all this time, what changed? Was there new evidence that suddenly came to light, or was it just the persistence of someone involved in the case that made a difference? It's just tough knowing that Anderson, Gary, and Johnny's families had to wait so long for any kind of movement. Kudos to the investigators who stuck with it, but I can't help but wonder what finally pushed it forward. Anyone else have any thoughts or insights on cold cases that finally see some resolution? Thinking of the families and hoping they find some peace.
