It's so tragic to hear about Brittnee and Nicholas, but what's been really haunting me is the thought of their little girl. I can't even imagine the trauma and confusion she must be going through right now at just three years old. This child has lost both her parents in such a violent way, and although she wasn't physically harmed, emotionally this must be so incredibly difficult for her. I'm hoping that she's getting all the love and support from her family that she needs during this unimaginably tough time. It's going to be a long road ahead, but children are resilient, and I really hope there are therapy and resources in place to help her process all of this. The community and those around Brittnee and Nicholas need to rally around this little one and ensure that she grows up with nothing but love and understanding. It's such a stark reminder of how the ripple effects of domestic violence can forever alter the lives of those left behind.
