Has anyone else been following the Hinman case? I can't stop thinking about the impact this has on the community of South Hill. The Hinmans dedicated so much of their lives to helping those in need through The Shepherd Shop and Shepherds Inn. It’s devastating to think that this place, once a beacon of hope, is now associated with such a tragedy. How is the community processing this? Are efforts still ongoing to keep the shelter running, or has this incident put things on hold? It's so important that the people who relied on their services continue to get the help they need. My heart goes out to everyone affected, especially those who worked closely with Jackie and Douglas. It must be an incredibly difficult time for all involved.
