Hey everyone, I've been following the Malcolm Omar Lassiter case and it's so tough to see how little progress has been made. I was thinking about how his case connects to the larger problem of violent crime in Atlanta around that time. I read somewhere that the southwest part of the city had a significant rise in criminal activity in 2015, which makes me wonder if his murder was part of a trend or something more isolated. It's frustrating when such senseless violence doesn't lead to any leads or suspects. I just hope the investigation isn't being lost in the shuffle of other cases. My thoughts are with Malcolm’s family and friends; I can only imagine how difficult it must be for them not to have the answers they deserve. Has anyone come across more recent updates or other similar cases from that area?
