Has anyone else looked into whether Lester had checked into any lodges or campgrounds around Oakridge or near McCredie Hot Springs around the time he went missing? It’s strange how his vehicle was found abandoned but no trace of him has been discovered. Given his interest in visiting the hot springs, I can’t help but wonder if he might have stopped somewhere else beforehand and something happened. If anyone knows about any potential sightings or other leads that haven't been widely reported, it might be helpful to share those details. It's been over two years now, and I’m hoping something new might come up that could shine light on what happened.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following Lester Whitmeyer's case and something that's been on my mind is the abandoned vehicle found in the forest. It makes me wonder - was it a mechanical issue that led him to leave it, or did something else happen that forced him to abandon it altogether? It's such a bizarre detail, right? I keep thinking about things like whether the keys were found inside or if anything was visibly wrong with the car itself. If the vehicle was in perfect working order, then why leave it behind? Maybe someone else with more local knowledge or insight into car troubles might have a theory. It’s definitely a piece of the puzzle that's puzzling to me! Anyone else think it's strange or have thoughts on this?
